Who we are:
Established in 1988, NEW DIRECTIONS was
created to assist manufacturers of gift, stationery, decorative
accessories,
and related products in promoting and publicizing their product
to the retail trade.
Millie Szerman, President of NEW DIRECTIONS, brings
more than thirty (30) years of sales, marketing and public relations
experience
to you. Her background features work in advertising (on both
the agency and client sides), in the print media, and in
a number of
related industries, including consumer electronics, food
services, and, most recently, gift, stationery and decorative
accessories.
About 10 years ago, when the trend for working from home became a recognized focus, Millie Szerman and New Directions
were featured
in Money Magazine as one of the country's most successful
home-based business enterprises. That same year, an issue
of Home Office
Computing also highlighted Ms. Szerman's expertise as an
entrepreneur and
subsequently she appeared on CNBC's Business to Business
segment. Since that time, she has appeared on numerous television and radio programs, been featured in magazine and newspaper articles, and continues to be at the forefront of the "work-from-home" directive.
What we do:
NEW DIRECTIONS specializes in increasing promotional
efforts to retailer awareness, developing and administering
motivational activities, and analyzing unproductive
sales techniques. Working with companies whose sales range from $200,000
to $30 million, NEW DIRECTIONS has enjoyed major success assisting
more than 50 companies
